Description

The air-conditioned card-room in the basement of the main complex building is presently the venue for this activity. Three state level tournaments in this game have been conducted in our sports complex. Our members have performed with distinction in these tournaments and regularly compete in state and national level tournaments.

Sub-Committee :

The bridge sub-committee is the representation of the playing members of the section and recommends suitable amendments to playing rules, conducting tournaments, addition of facilities, grievances of the members etc to the managing committee during their annual tenure. RANKING TOURNAMENTS HELD:

Maharashtra State Open Bridge Championship – 2003.(Held on 1st – 2nd November 2003)
Maharashtra State Open Bridge Championship – 2005. (Held on 12th – 13th March – 2005)
Maharashtra State Open Bridge Championship – 2006. (Held on 22nd – 23rd April – 2006)
Maharashtra State Open Bridge Championship – 2007. (Held on 2nd – 3rd June – 2007)

Bridge rules:

  1. Four players will form a table and they will be allowed to play 2 Rubbers at a time. They can continue if no other player is waiting to play.
  2. After completing 2 Rubbers, if there are other players waiting to play, who cannot form another table, they should be accommodated in the same table by elimination for which cut will have to be resorted to. The player who cuts the least card will be eliminated in that order.
  3. In case there are 4 players waiting to play, they can form another table and so on.
